@juillet Unfortunately I am having a different problem now. My English grade moved up form an A- to an A due to good essay writing.
But my history grades are borderline B+/A-. The problem is this year is much more memorisation than ever before and less analysis. I am in AP world history and most of the class funds it easy. I do not. I think I got a B+ last year on English due to the insane amounts of memorization required.
My math (AP Calculus) and physics (AP Physics C) are still at 98 and 99, respectively. Class average is 82 and 86, respectively. In my school of you are good at math you are good at history more than science. For me it is the other way around.
I’m just worried now that no college will be a good fit for me, due to the divide between math/physics/chemistry and history/English.
I just got accepted to the CMU governors school for the sciences (acceptance rate = 13%) but am questioning myself if I really deserved it, as my GPA is bad, even when compared to others who were rejected.
