good athlete, and student, please chance!

So my brother is a good student and an even better Football(Soccer) Player, he will be applying to the top 10 schools and has gotten in contact with coaches at Princeton, Yale and Stanford, however we are totally clueless about how the recruiting process works since we are internationals! Any help? So far the coaches have asked for grades and a video. He will be attending the East Coast Soccer Academy at Yale this summer as well as M&Tsi at Wharton.

His numbers:

GPA: UW: 4.00
Classes: Taken 8 AP's (World, Calc, Euro, Chem, Micro, Macro, Comp Sci, Bio) (3 5's so far)
- Will take 5 more next year!
SAT/ACT: SAT/2100, ACT/32 (First Attempts, will retake in fall)
SAT Subject: Chemistry, World History, Math 1, Math 2- Pending!
EC's: Community Service, Co-founder of Charity, MUN, MENSA, Student Council, NHS
Will Apply for FINAID <$20,000
US Permanent Resident

Soccer:
Position: Center Forward

Honors:
U-19 National Team
MVP 2008,2009
Team Captain 2008,2009

He will be applying to Yale (SCEA), Princeton, MIT, Harvard, Penn, Columbia, Dartmouth, Duke!

raise his scores to 2200, 34 and hell be fine everywhere if he is in fact as good an athlete as you say. I know I have contacted the coaches at most of the ivies(plus seen numerous athletes from my school do it) and they have gotten in with far worse numbers than your brother.

If he’s a top athlete with those kinds of grades he probably has a better chance than most. However, unless he is very active in MENSA, I wouldn’t really count it as an EC. Basically, anybody with the SAT or ACT scores to get into an Ivy league school would automatically qualify for MENSA so it is just filling out an application.

Unless he is the president of MENSA or something.

I just found out that U-19 National Team is the best soccer players (under 19) in the country. Good grief. If he can’t get in almost anywhere with that on his resume, along with what are perfect grades and excellent test scores (although not the top), I don’t know who will. I don’t even know if he needs to retake the tests - but it could only help I guess.
