Good/bad fall shows

grey's anatomy is a lot less repetitive than house. house get boring after a while b/c its the same thing over and over. predictable in a way. i'm never really shocked by anything. and house gets old after a while.

prison break isn't that good. haven't seen justice but i heard it sucked.

why do you think that these shows sucked?

well i've only heard from other people and critics that justice sucked. i haven't seen it.

and prison break is just blah.

the critics are often wrong. justice is really good. make your opinions dont take other people's word for it.

Someone say Nova... I love Nova. mr_chipset, I know you're out there!

well i said i heard from critics and people i know. BOTH said they sucked, and it really doesn't look interesting. maybe i'll see it if i have nothing better to do.

eh..it must just not be their type of show. if they're not into crime/law dramas then i guess they wouldnt like it, but it really is good.

yeah i don't really like the crime/law dramas. they're too predictable or uninteresting. i like csi and the real crime/law drama stuff on 20/20 and primetime and stuff though.

I don't get why people like House so much. It isn't that good. I think Grey's Anatomy is better. I've been with it since the beginning. :-D

yeah, house is kind of overrated. i mean at first it was entertaining and fun to watch house and his crazy antics, but it really gets played out. and the other characters are boring as crap. and sometimes the cases are so bizarre you're just like "ok, whatever".

I agree. I haven't even seen a full House episode because it is so boring, for me at least.

Something juicy always comes out of Grey's.

prison break is the best show overall no matter what you say

Nip/Tuck!
:)

Nova. Quod erat demonstrandum. ;)

I am looking forward to the new seasons of The Amazing Race and Lost, those are really the only two shows I watch.

House

can't stand grey's anatomy

and i dont like house. b o r i n g.

The first half of House season 1 was repetitive, I agree. It doesn't really pick up until vogler steps in and starts conflicting with House. After that it moves really fast into House's personal life and starts bring out the supporting characters more, especially in the second season. So if you stop watching house after the first few episodes, I would suggest skipping ahead a bit.

Grey's I couldn't stand though. It's just like every other medical drama. I find nothing appealing about the main character or any of the characters and there is no humor. I saw the first 3 eps and gave up. I'd say it seems like a more emotional(dare I say feminine?) type show aka soap opera.

I'll take House for my drama and Scrubs(technically not fall) for my humor.

Other than the shows already mentioned, there's also Battlestar Galactica for the sci fi geeks. I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me.

Another new show that looks pretty interesting is Jericho on CBS. It's basically about a small town in Kansas that survives a nuclear apocalpyse. The pilot looked promising, at least.

you saw the first 3 episodes? thats it. well you cant really make those allegations about show if you've barely seen it. just like house supposedly 'picked up' so did grey's anatomy. it's seriously addicting. i've seen episodes from multiple seasons of house and none of them appealed to me.

House at least had a great character from the start. I didn't like any of the characters in Grey's, plus none of the big story arcs(the romance, her mom, conflict between her and the staff, conflict between the staff, conflict between the students) appealed to me, which is even worse, because I know they're going to be talking about them all season.

But whatever, that's just my opinion. I just wanted to point out that House is not as repetitive as the first half of season one makes it out to be, because I actually stopped watching for a couple months at one point, then started slogging through episodes when I got bored and quickly got into it.
