and im thinking of going bio major or premed.
but then my SAT isnt exactly great- but have GPA of 4.2 and probably in top 10 in the school. hows my chance of getting in those school? i know they r competitive schools...
which school should i put in for safety? any suggestions? i want good bio university or premed.

George Wshington or Pitt would be good safeties. Are you from CA? Some of the schools you listed will be difficult to get into: Brown, JHU, Washington U St Louis. IF you are not a CA resident, the CA schools will be difficult too.

noo im an international student- although i do go to an american school. yeaaah those school are kinda tough..
o ya one of my friends told me dat early decisions tend to be easier or sumwhat lenient if ur aiming for one of the top schools- is that trueeee????

well usually (not all the time) for some schools, they accept a higher percent of students who apply early decision rather than regular

Good list. Check out WUStL carefully before applying. 75% of the biology majors are pre-med, and that would drive me insane. I'd also consider dropping one or more of the UCs; they're really not worth OOS tuition and fees.

Consider Emory, which has fantastic opportunities for a pre-med (the CDC and American Cancer Society are next door). Tufts would be another excellent choice.

It's hard to say without knowing your stats and preferences, but Case Western, Northeastern, Rochester, Miami, and Boston U are possible matches/safeties. If you're willing to consider smaller schools, Occidental, Goucher, Franklin & Marshall, and Lewis & Clark are good biology/pre-med schools in or near large cities (except F&M).

i preferr east coast-

i was searchn sum more- how about syracuse, villanova, lehigh...?
u knoww, im really starting to worry cuz this one gurl who got in jh was saying that SAT scores is quite important- and that she got in evn thou she wasnt quite the top students. aghhhh i dont evn have at leaest 2000. :( but i guess im a well rounded student- community service-sports-musicals-
any suggestionss???-
