good biomed/biochem schools?

Hi I am going into my junior year and am trying to make a list of potential colleges. I have not yet decided whether I want to do more biomed stuff or biochem stuff, but I am taking classes next year in both areas to help me narrow it down. I know for sure I will be doing something with biology, so I am looking for schools with very good bio programs.

Other things I want:
medium/large school
in a city or near a city
field hockey program (even like a mess around rec team would be ok, as long as I can play)
pretty good financial aid program or scholarship opportunities

My stats:
caucasian female
state: maryland
UW GPA: 4.0
weighted: 4.14
SAT: 2180 (780 W 710 R 690 M) this was the start of my sophomore year so I will be retaking and should score higher.
SAT II: Math 2 730 (probably should have studied)
AP: APWH 4
taking APUSH, AP spanish, AP english lang, AP calc ab, and AP physics b my junior year

Sorry this was so long! But thanks for any help :)

look up hendrix college
the greatest hidden gem in colleges.

If you aren’t afraid of looking at smaller, more rural/suburban colleges, check out Earlham. We have a great bio program (and pre-med), a field hockey team, and good financial aid/merit scholarships.

Good luck with your search!

@zobroward Thank you! It looks interesting except it’s a little smaller than I’d prefer

@ECAdmStudent Thank you also, but I guess I should include that I am looking to stay on one of the coasts

muhlenberg college in ¶ a little larger then hendrix equally awesome
rice university on the coast ( not east coast)
bigger schools vanderbilt (not on coast)
u of miami
yale is not to shabby either
