Good books for engineering students.

I am taking a first year engineering design course, and I have no prior experience in anything we are doing in class this summer. Right now we are working on some orthographic projects, mainly multiview projections (2D drawings of the front/top/right view) and will be going into axonometric projects (3D pictorial drawings) really soon. Are there any good books out there that can help me visualize the pictures better (maybe some worked out examples would be nice too)? It's hard for me, because we don't have a textbook for the course where I can look back to help me digest everything we learned in class.

This is the textbook I used when I took the class at Virginia Tech. Except this one is 1998 while the one I used was 2002.
