Good books to brush up on math?

Anyone has any recommendations for good books to brush up on math? I want to get my basics down and revise for placement tests. Also, I'm an international student who took the A-levels so I need a pretty complete guide to what is to be learned for math because of different syllabuses etc. I need to make sure I'm supposed to know what I should before college.

Try math books…they work wonders lol. That is really all I can think to use.

Starting from and going to? Everything between high-school geometry, algebra, trigonometry, and calculus I/II?

Yeah, you need to be more specific. But googling: “pdf: [enter math level title here] textbook” brings up some pretty decent books.

I’m currently teaching myself Multivar Calc with this book I found on google (http://www.mecmath.net/calc3book.pdf</a>) and the UCBerk lecture series.

Stratusfaction, is UCBerk lecture series on youtube?

I’m teaching myself Multivar using MIT lecture series

^Yup dude. Just youtube “Multivariable Calculus UCBerkeley” and a playlist should come up. I think MIT is awesome, but just wanted a change of scenery since I (partially) taught myself some differential calc from there. But I’ll shall be heading back when it’s time to teach myself Diffy Eqns.

It’s amazing to know all the ways to teach yourself now-a-days without having an actual professor holding your hand.

Maybe this will help:

It really is… It kind of makes me feel bad for being such a slacker, with everything out there on Youtube and the internet, there’s no excuse for me not to push myself to learn
