I'm going to start preparing for the next year's SAT, maybe for the one in summer.
Thus, I bought some books based on some of the threads that I've read.

Gruber's Complete SAT Guide - for math
Barron's, Rocket Review - for CR and Writing
Official Guide, a.k.a blue book - for practice tests and overall review
Direct Hits - for vocab

Are these good combination?
btw, I really need 2300+!
If I study with the books above consistently, will I be able to get 2300+?

I think I read in another thread that you're a freshman. If you are, stay away from the SAT for at least another year and a half.

Actually, I'm a sophomore. Why should I stay away from SAT?

Geez, that might be overkill. I'd say Blue Book and maybe Direct Hits are all you need.

so is direct hits a pretty good vocab book? i need a little help on vocab and am using the sparknotes 1000 words along with looking up the definitions to all the "complicated" words in the blue book that occur frequently
