My sister went to UVic, and she got a bilingual degree in History and French. I think that's her degree, at any rate. She got a good deal, and is now living in Sooke, which is near Victoria (up until recently she was living right downtown.) She liked it, and her friends who went there also liked it. I visited this summer and they kept saying "Go to UVic! Go to UVic!" I love Victoria as a city. Definitely look into it.

if you dont mind me asking what were her stats? She's American? My SAT is horrible so i dont plan on sending it, but my grades are excellent (give or take a couple of Bs and one C in freshman PE :P)

She was Canadian, and she transferred from U. Ottawa, so she didn't take SATs. She's actually sixteen years older than I am, so it's a different time and place, really. All I know is that she was top of her class in high school. I'm sorry I can't be of more help!

I live in BC and have numerous friends going to UVic. For a BC resident, you need only about a 75-80% average to be accepted. I applied there also and was accepted with scholarship.
