good classical piano pieces for admission sampling?

<p>i want to submit some pieces of my playing on the piano when i apply to college. any ideas for songs? classical please. and also, how many should i submit?</p>

<p>how about some chopin? fantasia impromtu or any nocturnes?</p>

<p>I think Fantasie Impromptu is too overused and a showy piece, not too much difficulty involved.</p>

<p>Nocturnes and Etudes would fare much better IMO.</p>

<p>Do Contrapunctus XIV (unfinished) and finish it yourself to really impress them.</p>
