<p>Im looking to transfer at the end of my first year at a local private college and want to transfer to either a SUNY school or CUNY school. I was wondering which of the SUNY and CUNY schools were best for Journalism and creative writing??</p>

<p>SUNY: New Paltz, Buffalo, Binghamton, Geneseo. I was also told Stony Brook’s journalism program is pretty good, even though the school is more known for science.
CUNY: Hunter, Brooklyn, Queens</p>

<p>Cooper Union definitely does not have a journalism or creative writing major.</p>
<p>I’m currently enrolled at SUNY Plattsburgh for journalism and I like it so far.</p>
<p>Pratt has a creative writing program. You may be confusing it with Cooper Union since they are both “art” schools.</p>
