Good College Review Site?

I know that CC is a great site--I have been coming here for a couple of years now (although this is my first post)--but I am wondering if any of you know of any good sites that review colleges in great depth.

I'm a big fan of the PrincetonReview.com. Their "Counselor-o-Matic" feature has probably been the most helpful in my search as has the "Students Say" section of each school.

I have also seen StudentsReview.com, but I do not think it is very helpful.

Right now, the Vault.com is letting anyone check out their "Student Surveys" of undergrad schools, but most of the students that were surveyed are in their school's business programs and they do not have any reviews of LACs. Although I want to go into business, I want to first attend a LAC so the site is only slightly helpful.

Ccollege Prrowlerr.com would be a tremendous resource if only they didn't cost $10 a piece. And yes, I know that you can check out 8 pages for free, but those 8 pages only get you so far in understanding the college.

So, what I am wondering is: Are there any tremendous sites/books that give real student opinions or do a good job at helping a prospective student grasp information that one wouldn't find out by going on a tour/spending an overnight/reading the aforementioned sites?

Thanks, also here are my basic stats and list of colleges (and where I think I stand) in case anyone might want to give me feedback (I know this doesn't necessarily belong here, so you can disregard it if you want, but if you do respond at all, it would be helpful for me if you could just give an opinion based on the information below as well):

GPA: 3.48
SAT- M: 650, V: 710, W: 650
Getting recruited to swim

Safety- Indiana, Mich St., Oregon, Ohio Wesleyan

Good Match- Illinois, Penn St., The College of New Jersey, Lewis & Clark, Illinois Wesleyan, Syracuse

Reach- Babson, Wisconsin, Miami (OH), Maryland, UNC, Colby, Hamilton

how are indiana, and mich state safeties yet miami a reach?

anyways try campusdirt.com and theu.com, don't know if they have what you need but they come as close as you can get without visiting the school/

^^ i dont get that either...Miami has like acceptance rate in the seventies?? thats high

Sportsajent - I don't think any of those "reaches" are reaches, except for UNC if you're out-of-state. You ought to be at least on-target for every other school on that list.

really? even for Babson, Hamilton, and Colby???

Really. Stop selling yourself short, especially if you're getting recruited to swim. =) Now show us some real reaches huh?

Hey, the average SAT for Babson is 1263. Cornell's is about 1380, and you're almost there. princetonreview.com would be helpful for you in comparing your stats to the colleges'.

Babson would be a definite safety with above a 1330 SAT

Um, generally the more prestigious a school is, the more inaccurate their average SAT is for judging how likely you're admitted. By that SAT score, I would've been admitted ED to Yale or Harvard (assuming I've got the right schools here.. lol) and had the red carpet rolled out for me. =P
