Good colleges for Biology? - Especially Cell, Molecular, Genetics, etc.

<p>Hey everyone ^_^</p>

<p>What are some good colleges (public or private) that offer great undergraduate programs for biology? Especially cellular, molecular, genetics, biochemistry, and stuff in that general area?</p>

<p>My list right now is:</p>

<p>UC Berkeley
UCLA
UC San Diego
U Wisconsin - Madison
U Michigan - Ann Arbor
U Washington
Washington U St. Louis
Johns Hopkins</p>

<p>Yes, I know its a very eclectic list, but that's not the point ;) I just want to get some feedback, are these good schools for the areas I'm looking into?</p>

<p>UCSD has a great biology program. It’s our strongest department after bioengineering.</p>

<p>Washington’s program is very competitive but I would <em>not</em> consider it worth the OOS tuition, especially if you’re in-state for UCSD.</p>

<p>I’m not in state for any of the universities I chose actually…</p>

<p>Boston University has an awesome program though you have to have Straight A’s and like a 30 on the ACT to get in… i thought about going there but my ACT wasn’t high enough</p>
