Good colleges for me??

So, I applied to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's Business School and feel like that would be a great fit for me.

I really want to major in business (accounting or finance, maybe both) and want to have the opportunity to get a job with a lot of potential right out of college.

The only problem is that I have no idea what other colleges to apply for that have a great undergrad business school. So any suggestions would be great.

here's my stats
3.997 UW GPA
31 ACT
5 of 75 in class
AP Calc and AP Chem II (only 2 offered at my school, i took the most rigorous schedule I could
Good EC's

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks

I would suggest University of Michigan, Indiana University, Babson.

Washington University, if you can get in.

Thanks floridadad55, would you consider any of these schools to have better accounting/finance programs then UIUC? Also, I am instate Illinois and a low income family.

Illinois has the #1/2 accounting program every year and it doesn’t really get any better than that. Michigan and Indiana are also very good business schools (better finance programs but only slightly lower ranked accounting programs). Coming from any of those three would set you up well for most accounting or finance jobs.

Check out UT Austin - McCombs B-School
It is #1 in the US for Accounting and is fairly high up there for Finance as well.

Add UVA, Duke, UNC, Wake Forest, Notre Dame, Michigan, UT Austin, USCw, Vanderbilt, etc. to your list.

Thanks for the replys everyone. Now, is Illinois in the same tier as the schools listed or are some of these schools widely considered better for acct/finance?

UIUC has one of the top undergraduate accounting programs, and is a definite feeder school for the Big 4, especially in Chicago.
