Good colleges with Easy or No Supplements?

I don't want to write any extra essays, but I want to go to a good college. Where can I apply? About 3.8 GPA and 1500 SAT/ 2200

I know Dartmouth, Boston College, and WashU have easy/non-existent supplements for the Common Application. Are there any others?

Georgetown's application is almost identical to the Common App... you'll just have to fill in all the basic information, and depending on what school you apply to, you probably won't have to write any more essays.

Um, i think Duke...but not 100% sure.

Case Western

Notre Dame

Dartmouth - no essay. There's a peer evaluation you need to get someone to write for you

wash u - no supplement

There are lots with the "why x college" supplement, including LACs.

Wiliams is like Dartmouth's. Avoid Tufts.

vanderbilt got rid of most of their supplement this year (basically all you fill out now is which school you're applying to...no essays), i REALLY hope they aren't going to try to turn this school into a washu

Wesleyan. Just the Common App essay.

I think Brandeis's supplement is similar to that of Williams. No essays just some personal info

Rochester, Emory

ASU's application requires absolutely no effort. You don't have to write any essays or anything. You just give them your basic information and send in your scores and it's done. Easiest application I've seen in my life.

Granted, it's not a top school, but everyone needs a safety....

University of Minnesota - Twin Cities has a ridiculously easy appllication as well: no essays. Their priority filling deadline has already passed, but it's not exactly the most difficult school to get into, although the money might be dried up.

If I recall correctly, American has no supplement (although this is just hearsay, I never used the common app)

Holy Cross, from what I recall

I don't know about that...a 50something acceptance rate with an in-state bias? Applying after the priority date wouldn't be a sure thing at all...and midwestern state schools tend to fill up fast.

does WashU not have a supplement in order to increase their applicants-> reduce acceptance rates->higher rankings? Washu is very calculating...

washu has no supplement to increase their rankings. They are so desperate. A fine school like Cornell turns down people with great scores...looks for what they want, have prestige, and have the same ranking...the right way, IVY LEAGUE...RESPECT!

Lewis and Clark's supplement is pretty easy; they have 2 short (like 75-100 word) "why l & c?" questions, but they're like nothing.

In addition, the application is free online on commonapp or on their webiste and they have a 2/1 deadline.
