Good communication schools recommendation?

<p>Hey all!</p>

<p>I've been doing some research for comm schools (am planning on applying at the end of the year) and I was wondering if there are any I should particularly look into?</p>

<p>The communication major I'm interested in is the one that has to do with Advertising, PR, print/broadcast/online journalism/mass communications etc, NOT the one that focuses on speech/rhetoric/things of those sort. I'm also considering Journalism as a major, but it's 2nd choice if I find the right comm major.</p>

<p>I've read that Syracuse, Northwestern, Mizzou are well-known for their communication schools/programmes and as much as I would love to apply & be accepted there, they seem a little Reach schools for me.</p>

<p>Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks :)</p>

<p>And Syracuse isn’t that difficult to get into.</p>

<p>& really Syracuse isn’t, coltofalltrades? I would LOVE to get into Newhouse but it seems like competition’s a little stiff.</p>
