<p>Even with scholarship money, would PINYU be cheaper than Stony Brook?</p>
<p>@ucbalaumns probably around 3-5000 more…but if I get good money from POLY need based grand then it would be about the same.</p>
<p>Stony Brook is very good for CS – it may not be worth paying extra for PINYU (although if you prefer to stay in NYC and commute, PINYU would likely be more convenient and cheaper for commuting).</p>
<p>The NYU name is appealing( it will officially be NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering-from next year). That’s why I am willing to pay the extra price- and I don’t have to dorm if I go to poly I can stay home- which would save me a ton in rent and food money.</p>
