Good CS job placement?

I'm looking at schools with good job placement for computer science majors. My SAT is 780M 720 CR and my GPA is 3.7UW, 4.3 W. I'm interested in northeastern's co-op program, and looking for similar opportunities. Thanks.

You shouldn’t have to look very hard.
CS is a very marketable major. Almost any major research university will cover pretty much the same basic set of CS courses. Northeastern should be fine. However, if you qualify for need-based financial aid, there are more than 50 other schools that are more generous with it ([Colleges That Claim to Meet Full Financial Need - US News and World Report](http://www.usnews.com/education/best-colleges/paying-for-college/articles/2013/09/18/colleges-that-claim-to-meet-full-financial-need-2014)).

If you do not qualify for need-based FA, many state universities would be a good $15K/year or more cheaper than Northeastern and have CS programs that are at least as good. Examples: Illinois, Maryland, Washington, Wisconsin, and UMass-Amherst.

CS majors at many universities can find good internship or research experiences.

If you can’t get a job with a CS degree t’s because you either have the same name as a serial killer or you are in a terrible job market (and even then it’s just going to take longer/require more tapdancing!!!) Honestly if money is an issue stick with a state unviersity or a one that thwill provide you full-need. Theres’ no need to chase prestige (I MEAN you wouldn’t want to go to a TOTAL dump but you don’t need to go Ivy either!)

Lots of schools have optional co-op programs, described at their career center web pages.

While CS is very marketable these days, the industry can have extreme highs and lows. Ten to twelve years ago was a deep low. Also, as with other fields, there is regional variation; if you are unwilling to relocate to where the desired jobs are, you may not find one.
