Im looking for some good accounting colleges in central or eastern PA or around that area. Im not talking about Harvard or Georgetown or MIT. Fairly good accounting colleges. Please post any lists, suggestions, or personal experiences about colleges. I have a 4.0 in highschool but only got a 1770 the first time on my SATs. Im going to take them again though.
Thank You

Cole, I'm not sure what the requirements are for each school but some good ones for business would be PSU, Pitt, Drexel, Lehigh, Scranton and St. Joes.

I don't know if you want a big or small school but-

A good friend of my daughter graduated from DeSales University in Accounting and she loved it.
Look at Temple U has a really good business school. I know a few kids that go there and really love it.
St Joseph's has a great business school but is quite pricey - you need really good SAT's to get a great merit scholarship there.
You would probably qualify for merit scholarships at either.
Over the line in Maryland - Mt Saint Mary's U has a great accounting department - you probably would qualify for a nice merit scholarship there as well.

Bucknell U would be another suggestion...although it might be a subset of the Business Administration degree.

Thank You all for you replies. Anyone else? =P

Villanova.

Don't pass up Temple - they have a really good business school. You probably would qualify for merit $$.

Do you have any other parameters? Is money an issue?

You would also qualify for good merit money at Scranton with those stats.

Across the border, Rider is a mediocre school that happens to have a standout accounting program.

Check out Susquehanna too.
