So I was looking at the Vault's guide to accounting and these were listed as the top accounting schools:

UIUC
U of Michigan
USC
Northern Illinois
Texas A&M
U of Wisconsin
Indiana
Ohio State
University of Georgia
Michigan State
Miami (ohio)
U of Arizona
U of Texas-Austin
U Penn
BYU
U of Alabama
U of Florida
UVA
UND
Arizona State U
W&M
Georgia State
U of Iowa
Wake Forest

My question is: Do most of these schools have good econ/business programs as well since they're somewhat correlated? What schools that aren't listed here have good econ/business programs that aren't extremely highly selective?

But really, I wouldn’t give that list much consideration. A good accounting program doesn’t correlate to a good econ/business program. They’re completely different fields. For a business major, there’s no way that Ohio State would beat Wharton, or A&M would beat UT. Try actual business rankings.

Search the “Business Major” forum for “top accounting programs” and “top business programs”.

USNWR ranks UT-Austin top for accounting, and U Penn’s Wharton School top for business.
Most schools are on both lists, but some have a better reputation for different disciplines.
