Good Economics schools on the East Coast

<p>Hi I'm a stressed out junior looking for ideas for schools.</p>

<p>Please help? here are my stats:</p>

<p>Female</p>

<p>White</p>

<p>Jewish</p>

<p>Northern MA</p>

<p>Public school that rarely sends students to top colleges</p>

<p>GPA: ~89 unweighted mostly honors classes, 2 APs next year</p>

<p>Class Rank: 23/304</p>

<p>Standardized Tests:</p>

<p>PSAT Oct '06: 53CR 52M 49W</p>

<p>SAT II Bio M Jun '07: 650</p>

<p>PSAT Oct '07: 59CR 73M 60W</p>

<p>SAT Nov '07: 620CR 690M 640W(8 essay)</p>

<p>retaking SAT in May '08 and taking SAT II Math II in Jun '08</p>

<p>ECs:</p>

<p>Student Council, Voice, Powderpuff, voluntereed at hospital last summer, Relay for Life, Girl Scouts, School trip to New Orleans, LA where 31 other students and I are raising money to go to Louisiana in April to clean and rebuild houses after Katrina.</p>

<p>Hopefully getting a job at supermarket this summer</p>

<p>Possible major(s): Economics or International Relations</p>

<p>I am looking for a school on the East coast preferably. With good job/internship opportunities that hopefully provides a lot of need based financial aid.</p>

<p>Any help would be greatly appreciated!!</p>

<p>Boston University or Northeastern, maybe</p>

<p>Fordham and NYU if you want to be in NYC</p>

<p>do you care about size of school? urban vs suburban vs rural?</p>

<p>size is not a big factor in my choice.</p>

<p>i would preferably like a school that is either in an urban area or a suburban area. I have grown up in a very rural town and I am over it! :)</p>
