Can anyone recommend any good, reputed Engineering colleges, which offer good UX Design and software development courses?

bump…! Please reply…

Carnegie Mellon might be the best, or Harvey Mudd - a tech school that has the core coursework but allows some intellectual freedoms. UX is usually pursued as grad level work following select undergraduate studies.
A neighbor of mine has his phd in linguistics and does research on verbal user interface design.

CMU has a program in human-computer interaction, a top CS department, as well as a very strong design department, so I imagine there would be something in that which would be what you’re looking for.

Thanks for the choices.

However, CMU seems to not offer any FA to internationals. Can you recomend any that might?

You might want to try posting in [Financial Aid & Scholarships - College Confidential](Financial Aid and Scholarships - College Confidential Forums) since more people there might be aware of aid that’s offered to international students.

Thanks! I’ll look into that.
