Hello,
I know there are many great colleges in cali like stanford, cal tech, UC berkley and all the other UCs. I am actually aiming a bit low (universities that would cost me less), thus I am not at all looking at the UCs. I wanted to know out of the state universities, which universities are good for civil engineering. My aim is to get an MBA from a very good grad school, so which college would help me seize it?
Thanks

In-state or out-of-state, and what kind of price limit are you looking at?

There are 22 schools in California with ABET-accredited civil engineering. 4 UC, 12 CSU, 6 private (of which 2 Catholic, 1 Baptist, 3 non-religious).

Top MBA schools look for kids with a few years of good job experience, with responsibility, promotions, and ideally management experience. You want an undergrad degree, then, from places where well-known employers look for kids they want to put on the fast track. Getting an engineering degree and then working as a bench engineer for a couple of years does not make you a strong candidate for acceptance to get an “MBA from a very good grad school”

Hello, I am an international student. I have done IB (international baccalaureate) and have scored 31/45. My sat 1st attempt was 1930 and second was 1860. Thus my super score is 1990.

My sister lives in california so my parents want me to finish my college from california too. i know california has some excellent engineering scools like cal tech, stanford, USC and some UCs. But they are all so expensive for international students and furthermore I do not have that profile to get into these colleges. I wanted to know some good and also cheap engineering schools in califronia other than those mentioned above. These schools could include the state universities also. Thanks alot

?? Do your parents want you to live with sis? If not, do they want you to be within a few hours? Where is sis?

Calif is a LONG state so your sis could be MANY hours away from your college.

How much will your parents spend each year?
