Good English Score + Terrible Math Score

I just got my scores back for the March SAT, (my first time taking the test), and I am very disappointed. My English score was 200+ points better than my math score. How does this reflect on me?? Is having one great score and one not so great score looked down upon compared to having two equal mediocre scores?? How do I raise my math score for the next sitting of the test?? Help!

I can’t speak for how colleges would interpret the score difference, but that would be mitigated anyway if the colleges you are interested in superscore and you are able to get your math score up next time.

In terms of raising your math score, Khan Academy has great practice work for specific SAT math topics or just SAT math as a whole. One of the things that helped me was taking their practice tests, then going over the answers I got wrong. I would read the explanation and do practice problems from that area until I grasped the concept 100%
