<p>I am a high school junior who has been looking at colleges for a while now, however I have not found any schools that have particularly good teaching/English departments. I am mainly looking at schools on the east coast, however I am open to any suggestions. I am in all AP academic classes and have around a 3.07 GPA and a 1680 SAT. My writing skills are excellent!</p>

<p>What regions are available for you to apply to? What size school are you looking for? etc. Give some more information about yourself & what you are looking for - department strength is not the only factor is selecting a college.</p>
<p>At what school level do you intend to teach? If HS or lower then you would be best off going to a school in the region where you wish to teach.</p>
<p>I am open to applying to schools on the east coast (including southern states)…I do not want to go farther west than Minnesota and Louisiana. Size of the school is not a major factor for my decision however nothing smaller than 1000 students. I am mainly interested in High School teaching.</p>
