<p>I was just wondering how competitive my ACT score breakdown would be for Berkeley. I know it's not all about scores, of course, but I was just hoping to see if this would be one less aspect of my app to worry about...</p>

English: 35
Mathematics: 33
Reading: 36
Science: 27
Combined English/Writing: 35 (12 on the writing).</p>
<p>Also, I'm more of an English person and I'm really leaning on my writing abilities to help me stand out. Do you think they will take this into account when viewing my 27 Science score? I'm obviously going to be sending in my SAT scores, too, but they haven't come in yet.</p>
<p>NOTE: OKAY, this is extremely weird. I just went on the ACT site to look at my scores again and my Mathematics score was dropped down to a 32! I called to ask about this and the lady cut me off saying that was impossible and my eyes must have “misread.” I know for a fact that my score was a 33 because I’ve logged in to view my scores like 6 times this past week, and even recall immediately copying them down into my UC and Common App as soon as they were released! </p>
<p>Has anyone else had this problem? I have no idea what to do, as I never printed out my scores to be able to fax to them as proof. I really don’t understand why they would do this, and what I should do now. What do you guys suggest?</p>
<p>Is your composite score still a 33? If so, don’t worry about it. There is really not much difference between a 32 and a 33. As for your score being competitive, yes it is. It is within the range of accepted students. Don’t forget to take two SAT II tests.</p>
<p>Don’t know anything about your change of score issue, but your ACT (even if math is a 32) is fine for Cal (likely in the top end of the middle 50% range) but of course it is only one factor in the decision to admit.</p>
