Hi,
I'm a high school senior currently residing in northern Nevada, and I was considering trying to find a college that offers a good film program within Oregon, Nevada, or Washington. (Because of the lateness of the school year, I would probably end up attending a community college first before going elsewhere...) I've applied to and been accepted to a local college, but, the truth of the matter is, it doesn't focus in any of the areas I'm interested in, and I just really don't feel that satisfied in going there for the price I would be paying.

I haven't found much within my own region... and Washington is probably the state that will be the next easiest for me to get into/ get residency in because of family residing there.
California would actually be my top choice for going to college... but, since my unweighted GPA is relatively unextraordinary (3.33), and, since I'm from a "lower-middle-income-bordering-on-poor-but-not-quite-there-yet" household, my chances of getting into and paying for most California universities are... well, minimal at best.
And, as for Oregon, I know the least about my options within that state - but, I'm open to any insight.

Help, suggestions? Anything is appreciated - thank you. :)
