Good Fit (for a transfer)?

currently i have a 3.7 gpa at my jr college with 60 completed credits. im here for one more semester (taking accounting, speech (req. for graduation), business law, and a fashion class)...anyway, assuming i maintain this gpa and with my high school stats (2.8 gpa, terrible and 640verbal 510math SAT)

im from the northeast so id like to stick around here. looking for a academically AND socially solid school in this region. at least 4000 kids, but would prefer a bit more than that...

any help??

anyone, i need some help

Syracuse, Union, Northeastern?

never heard of union, ill look into it...thanks

Union is a nice school, but it has about 2000 students, and you said you wanted 4000+.

Syracuse and Northeastern are good options, as are Boston U., Villanova, U of Connecticut, U of Mass., U of Vermont, U of Pittsburgh, Fordham, U of New Hampshire, and U of Maine,

i visited fordham and did not like the area much at all. im looking at BU and villanova.

i heard villanova is lacking in the social scene though

Syracuse, Villanova, Temple, St. Bonaventure, SUNY at Albany/Buffalo/Binghampton.

yeh villanova sucks with the scene, its really located in the middle of nowhere, but if you liked fordham and villanova theres fairfield

suny stonybrook

or you could look at st. johns or st. josephs

I'm applying Syracuse. It has a great basketball team, duh, and a fairly underrated academic program.

i got into st joes, deferred my admission until next fall so i can decide for sure. i also got accepted into loyola maryland and i really wanted to go there but they were stingy with my credits so forget that (and st joes gave me a scholarship that loyola refused to match).

i have heard not so good things about st johns and i did not like the location of fordham at all...

i heard villanova gets fun when you are 21 and thats how old i will be when transferring.
