Good Focus Professors

I've heard both positives and negatives about Focus, depending largely on which professors people had. For those of you who have already taken Focus, which professors would you recommend and which would you avoid? Also, is there a website on which Duke students rate professors and classes they have taken?

Great professors I know:

Anne Yoder (Evolution)

Mart Cartmill (Evolution)

David Malone (Forging Social Ideals)

Robert Cook-Deegan (Genome Revolution) <---was my pre-major advisor and faculty-in-residence of Alspaugh

Cindy Lee Van Dover (Global Climate Change)

Michael Orbach (Global Climate Change)

Ruth Grant (Visions of Freedom)

Michael Moses (Visions of Freedom)

Clare Woods in Virtual Realities is kind of an "eh" professor. I've heard bad things about miriam cooke of Muslim Cultures, but I haven't had her, so I can't speak from experience.

that was helpful , thanks : )

does anyone know anything about the evolution & humankind cluster...how fun is it? how fun are anne yoder and cartmill?

I hate to ask something in someone else's threa, but anyone know anything about the Exploring the Mind profs or more about the Genome Revolution ones? And yeah, I'm looking at Evolution & Humankind too.

I also heard good things about Michael Moses (English professor, Visions of Freedom)

anyone know anything about Peter Klopfer ( evolution) or Angela O'Rand (evolution)?

Is anyone at all thinking about doing the Faces of Science?

That's my 4th choice...it looks somewhat interesting.

are the ones with good professors typically easy?
I've heard some people say they had bad professors but really easy courses while others said there were great professors with challenging courses. Of course, it can be both. just wondering
