Good for BU or Northeastern? Or both?

Hi…I’m trying to decide if I should apply to Boston University CAS Early Decision II. I don’t know if I have a very good chance or not, but I’m hopeful. I know I’m not the brightest Asian out there, but I really love BU. If all else fails, maybe Northeastern? I’m pretty sure I can get into UMASS-Amherst

Excellent recommendations and apparently, superb college essay by my Expos teacher (and she’s a Ed.D in English…and is address by “Dr.”)

Take one honors class (Chamber Singers) and the rest were Level ones and two (Advance + Competitive).

Hope your feedback comes ASAP before I make my decision! Thank you!

Oh, and if I applied ED to CAS and did not get in, would they put me in CGS?

I have 90 points higher on the SAT, around the same GPA/a little higher. Your ECs are better than mine. I applied EDI to CGS. I personally wouldve been wasting my time applying ED to the reg. school. I would suggest EDII to CGS.

Well, an early decision legacy applicant to CGS should get in--but you won't get into CAS.

What if I regulared this? Would I get into BU CGS?

You'd have a shot, it's definitely worth applying. Perhaps you could try the Jan SAT. With a 3.3 GPA, I think they'd want to see a 500 writing and 1100 reading/math score.

Which is exactly what my stats are :P (600 writing though :))

Yeah jPoD--you are definitely going to get in...Bastard :p

With ED, I hope so.
