Good for me?

I am planning on starting my own personal training business after college, which means I would major in some type of business or economics as well as take exercise science/nutrition/kinsiology-type classes in college. Would Pomona be a good choice for me? Any other thoughts? (Only considering Division 2 and Division 3 schools)

Pomona isn’t a vocational school and not sure what they offer in those kinds of health science classes. Have you looked at University of Redlands? I think Johnston College has some things of that nature - and lots of schools would give you a balanced education. I don’t think Pomona College is a particularly good fit for what you’re wanting to do. Claremont McKenna is more known for the business/economics things - and maybe Pitzer for some of it? I’d suggest reading the college descriptions.

Now that I think of it - are you thinking of Cal Poly Pomona? I think that school may have what you’re looking for.

@kathieh1 Thank you for the reply and recommendations. I will check those out. Any other thoughts? And I wasn’t thinking of Cal Poly but I will look at it now.

UCLA would be good for you.

Thank you but only considering Division 3 schools.
