Good free casual computer games?

Any recommendations for a bored guy? I don't care if it's browser based or if I need to install it. I've been playing Angry Birds on google chrome but that's getting boring...

If the game has a social multiplayer that would be very nice.

Pokemon emulators
Minesweeper
Sudoku
Ken Ken
Crossword
Hearts

If you really want casual: Tetris

These other two are free, and while they’re usually not regarded as casual, you can still play them casually and disregard your status.

Team Fortress 2
Quake Live

Team Fortress 2 for sure.

Solitaire…entertaining the masses for ages.

Check out the eyemaze games. You might hate every single one of them, but they’ll have you going “wth is this?” for hours. Personally, I love 'em.

Otherwise, you can never go wrong with Cubefield and Doodle God.

League of Legends is fun if you can get some friends to play with you. It’s PvP so some people will be mad if you just start playing normal games right away.

TF2 of course

Also get Portal while you’re at it.

Piracy is the answer (making every game “free”). It should be obligatory to get into college to know how to do it.

You can download emulators for consoles, like the Gameboy Advance and the Nintendo DS.

I second the Team Fortress 2.
Fun, free, runs on any decent desktop.

Fantastic developer support (4 years and it still gets constant updates with new weapons/gamemodes/maps/HATS), hilarious art style, great community and most importantly, tons of fun.
You don’t even have to be good at FPS’s, there’s a class and a playstyle that will suit you just fine.

Great stress reliever too, I’ve been playing since it came out in 2007 and still haven’t gotten bored of it. -.-

Careful about TF2. Steam tells me it’s sucked over a thousand hours out of my life so far.

TF2 or an emulator.

Relive your glory days in pokemon

League of Legends.

Tons of free MMORPG out there. You know the crazy korean types.

Age of Conan and Lord of the Rings Online are both free to play now.

Octodad.

It’s a great indie game that there’s really no substitute for.

Mahjong (Spelling?) Titans.

I enjoy it.
