So I've been trying to register for Penn summer courses (I'm in Philly for the summer anyways, so why not) for two weeks now, and have gotten nowhere! People keep directing me to other people, and it's just one big MESS! And I've sent my advisor quite a few e-mails over the past week and have gotten NO response! Can someone here please help me register as an incoming freshman for summer courses, please? Talking to Penn is an absolute waste of time!!

People talk about the bureaucracy at Columbia, but the past few weeks have convinced me that Penn is no better!

I’m taking a course now. I registered the Friday before my class started, so if you go to the right place it should be pretty instant. If you’re an incoming freshman you enroll through LPS; there’s a form on the Penn Summer website you fill out and include a copy of your acceptance letter (a printout from the website should work fine). If you go to this page: [Current Penn Students and Alumni | Penn Summer](http://www.sas.upenn.edu/summer/summer_sessions/registration/current/) about midway down there’s a link to download the form. Just fill out the form and mail it in (I actually delivered it by hand to the LPS office at 3440 Market St) and you’re set.

^ Thank you, Quaker2B! :)

Any idea about summer housing as well?

Thanks again!! :)

There’s a lot of off campus housing that’s cheaper than living on campus, but you can also live in the high rises during the summer.
