Good GPA, Low SAT

I’m a senior in high school and I’m about to take my 3rd SAT in October. With a super score I have a 1320, which is not the best score, however my GPA is a 96.48/100. I’m planning on applying ED to Vassar and I’m scared I won’t get in because I have a lower SAT score. I’m also planning on retaking my ACT which I got a 27 on in October, but I’m scared that if I don’t do well on either of these tests, that my chances on getting in to Vassar are going to be very low. What should I do?

If your standardized test results don’t match your academic performance, you may want to look into some test optional colleges. Here is a list sorted by state. Many exceptional colleges are now test optional. https://www.fairtest.org/university/optional/state

what stats did you end up applying to Vassar with?

I actually ended up getting into Vassar ED I! So I hope I can help!
GPA: 96.7/100 UW
ACT: 31
SAT: 1340
APs: World (3), Psych (5), US (4), Lang (4). This year I’m taking lit, chem, stat, micro, and macro,
For Vassar, they really focus on ECs and your essays, and those were definitely my main strong points in my application
ECs: MUN (pres), MUN Jr (I started a mun program in the middle school), Mock trial (Pres 11th and 12th), Volunteered at my local public library, French tutor, Varsity XC and track, Student Gov (sec.) and Class officers (sec.)
My letters of rec were also really good
I hope I helped!
