hey chatterjoy87, i'm reading through my posts from a while ago now, and yeah, i wasn't being fair to radon. I'll take back some of the things I said - the prestige thing too.

it's ok, u wr probably just outraged at the time and misinterpreted his gangster comment. thanks for admitting to it, though and not being offended

One of the downsides to a smaller school is that even if many people are qualified, certain colleges will only take one or two students from each school. Good thing for us Michiganders that UM has such a high in-state acceptance rate

haha, this is really making me laugh, i don't think i've ever heard Radon speak two sentences without using the word "gansta". i really don't think anyone should be offended by it. and about the ia, i think above everything else, what makes us a good school is that although the full IB program is mandatory, those who pursue it do it by choice and that is the difference ( i know there's a lottory to get in, but im talking about the ppl who get in by the lottory and then chose to go) i also have friends who go to troy high and are arguably much stronger than some of my classmates at the ia, but looking at the big picture of the schools and also taking into account that IA still rather new, the current rating by UM shouldn't be causing so much controversy. but then again im biased...
