good idea to take a 300-level course as a freshman?

It's an art history-type course, but I've never taken any other art history classes at all. Is it possible for me to do reasonably well, or should I avoid it?

I took a 300-level psychology course during my second semester of freshmen year. I didn’t even realize that it was 300 until I looked at my sakai tab once.

Check to see if the class you want to take doesn’t have a prerequisite, especially if you haven’t taken an art history course before. Or, try to take introduction to art history. It’ll count towards one of the liberal arts degree requirements.

It is possible to do well. Just look for a sample syllabus for the course, especially if the teacher’s name is given. Sometimes that teacher will have the syllabus on their site if they have their own website.
