Good JUNIOR YEAR schedule for ivy's?

RESEARCH= do what it says, enter in research competitions, its mainly based on scientific research etc.. and its considered to be a class that only few take and it gets harder every year and the weighting for it increases too...

OK, that sounds like it is a good class then.

That's a nice schedule!

6 AP's + PreCalcH + Research!!

If this schedule is a rarity in your school, then I'd say as long as your total GPA is around 3.8 (93+) & you have a 2100+ SAT Score, then you are definitely Ivy-Bound.

damn... AP Physics AND AP Computer Science AND AP US History?????
are you guys even allowed to take that many classes???

in my school ppl take average 6 classes...

"That's a very solid schedule, especially given your high grades, but that Pre-Calculus Honors is not very impressive, I have to say. Other than that, I think you have a strong shot, especially if your college boards and EC's are good."

I dunno about his school but in my school the highest that a junior can take is Honors Pre cal, so i disagree with that.

wow, insecure101...you might want to enjoy high school a little bit. enjoy your last bit of youth before the real world. make some friends.

How are you allowed to take 9 classes? We only get 7..... even if 2 of your classes are semester classes, then you'd have 8. How is that possible?

Precalc honors teachers are notorious for being evil.

maybe he's taken 5 whole credits and 4 half credit classes

Insecure is kind've insecure...do you really need us to confirm that this is a decent schedule?

"Also, high 90s in all these classes should be good too right?" - no, you need high 150s...what the hell do you think you need.

Precalc honors teachers are notorious for being jokes that host incredibly easy courses.

"How are you allowed to take 9 classes? We only get 7..... even if 2 of your classes are semester classes, then you'd have 8. How is that possible?"

Yes, it is possible. My school allows you to take 8 classes, and will even allow you to take 9 if a certain class is offered early in the morning before school starts.

man, that's not fair! oh well, at least I got to enjoy other things instead.

My schedule will basically be the same everyday except gym and research will alternate....and if this is giving me an edge then good for me i guess:

AP Physics
AP Computer Science
AP English Language and Composition
AP US History
AP Psychology
AP Spanish
Honors Pre-Calculus
Research and Presentation
Gym

"RIGOR OF SECONDARY SCHOOL RECORD"=AMAZIN'

Have fun.........

Do you really have to ask? It looks fine.

how's your social life treating you, insecure101? have fun spending your weekends studying all night. learn to live a little, man. enjoy your teenage years.

are you really compared against other people at your school?? because if you are, then that suuucks.... My schedule looks about the same (AP cs2, magnet (yes, magnet school) phys, h lat3, ap eng3, h ap econ/gov't, ap german4, magnet precal, gym outside of school through community college) but everyone else in my grade is in BC calc and phys B... damn... mutters inaudibly about pre-med kids

Insecure, is that your schedue now??? or next years?

That's a good schedule, but make sure you can handle it. (seriously.) Get used to staying up REALLY REALLY REALLY late (as in, until morning.)

My friends who are taking 6+ APs are pretty much dying right now. :P
