Good luck to CC class of 2007

Will be taking a trip away from home and without access to computer over the labor day long weekend. Then taking prpddjr. to Choate. Just wanted to wish all of you starting new schools next week the best of luck. I kind of feel like we l went through this process together - from developing a list of schools we were interested, to interviews and the painfull application process, to waiting for the acceptances (and rejections) to roll in, to making the decision where to go. Was nice to commiserate with other parents and, for me, to gain some insight into what it was like from the student's perspective (prpddjr. tends to play his cards close to his vest, at least around his parents).

I have to say I've continually been impressed by the thoughtfulness and maturity exhibited by many of our student posters. I think you all are going to be great additions to your respective schools.

And of course I want to give a special shout out to my fellow Choaties.

Good luck to you all, and I hope some of you continue to post and share your insights about your school and BS in general with the new crop of posters who are about to embark on the long strange trip that you have just completed.

Have a good weekend! I guess I'll run into your son at Choate.

I also want to thank all the parents and posters on the board for helping me out with advice and such and I want you guys to know that I can't imagine going through the process without everyone's help and great posts. :)
