<p>Major: Animal Science</p>

<p>GPA: 3.78</p>

<p>Backup Schools: Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Fresno, Cal State Chico, UC Davis</p>

<p>Applying early decision to Cal Poly</p>

<p>Major: Biological Science</p>

<p>GPA: 4.06</p>

<p>Backup schools: Chapman, San Diego State, Cal State Monterrey Bay, UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara and UC San Diego.</p>

<p>Also applying ED to cal poly this year :)</p>

<p>Major: biology</p>

<p>Cal poly gpa: 3.9</p>

<p>Other schools: san diego state, uc santa Barbara, uc la, uc Davis, and uc San Diego.</p>

I wish I got it together my first and second years of High School now I’m stuck with a 3.1 GPA.
I wanna go to Cal Poly for engineering, but I’m not going to kid myself.
I’ll try to be accepted as a transfer in the future.</p>

So uh, just going along with that whole friends close, enemies closer idea, what test score did you submit? I submitted a 1350 SAT</p>

<p>Keep in mind that all Impacted really means is a major for which more students apply for than the school can accommodate.</p>

<p>As for how much, there isnt really any way of quantifying it other than looking at the raw acceptance rate and the statistics (gpa, sat) of both the accepted and denied students.</p>
