I didn't apply to UCLA, but I know a lot of people on this forum did. And it seems the admissions release date is right around the corner, so to all you UCLA applicants, good luck!

Financial Aid Summary?

KidRobot and his obsession with the Financial aid summary. J/k.

Who Said Financial Aid Summary?

What? When? Why!!!! I Must Have It.

No Financial Aid Summary And Ucla Decision Make Homer Go Crazy.

good luck to you people who are applying to ucla.

i was in your position last year. the best part is when you see the big
"congratulations" when you check online. It was sweet. Out of all the schools i applied, they sent the biggest packet. they give a sticker too

a sticker!!!

oh lord, UCLA, don't fail me now!

(seriously, I really want a UCLA sticker... only if i get in, of course, lol).

dear friends,

just be patient and calm, don't indulge in sort of financial aid summary = acceptance/rejection discussions any longer, two or more days then you will know the result, right.

it is no big deal if you are rejected eventually, the world is still turning, and you still have to live, entering ucla doesn't mean you are more superior, and the vice versa. any uc is a good school and the most important thing is you can gain the most from the school, a ucm student can be better than a ucb student if he/she really works hard and learns the most, yes, the so called "reputation" is nothing if one can really strive for the most and work hard, one can still be a very successful guy despite which school he comes from.

we should be thankful if we get offers in any uc or usc etc., you know, many can't offer to study in college/university because of the circumstances, not because of poorer in academics. I and you all are lucky guys, so don't say that i am better than you if i get accepted and you get rejected.

in reality, acceptance criteria comprises lot of factors, and very often lucky factors the majority, and there is no real fairness in the world.

anyway, good luck to you all, if rejected, please still smile and take deep breath, and think of your beloved ones, your dad/mom, your close friends, they are still be with you despite your results. and always remember, you are just so unlucky in this spot, not inferior, and tells yourself " it is ucla's loss of not having you such a bright student, and not you."

sorry for writing too long, god bless you all !

That is really cool. After how many days did you get your packet with your sticker once you saw your decision posted on the Internet?

Is it a shiny and waterproof high quality sticker or some 2nd rate sticker with cheap glue? Additionally, are there hot asian girl pictures in the packet? These are important questions! :)

i love this thread, and thank you! so nice of you :D

My girlfriend got in as a freshman and she got one of those plasticky window "stickers". It's not really sticky, but it sticks to glass, if that makes sense.

I heard Harvard sends out cookie dough, a cookie cutter in the shape of an H, and instructions on how to bake it for everyone that gets accepted. Kind of makes a window sticker look tacky. Nevertheless, I'd slap that sucker on my car window as soon as I got it, and drive around with a little more dignity thereafter.

-i got the sticker like in a week after checking.

-yes, its for the window of your car so you can drive around showing off you went to ucla

-if some of you guys remember last year, everyone that was applying last year found out clues on how to determine whether you got in or not like weeks or days before decisions came out. The theories were surprisingly correct. And no, a financial aid document was not one of the clues.

-there are no hot Asian girls on your packet. however, there are hot asian girls on campus. bring extra tight underwear.
