becase tomorrow morning I'm leaving for Bucharest for my SAT2, I will probably not have the chance to check with CC till after I get back(most probably meaning Saturday). so I wanted to wish to all of you who are taking this Saturday either the SAT or the SAT2 my very best wishes of good luck! ;)

Thanks and same to you .... i also forward my wishes to all who will be trying yet another test of their fate this saturday

Hey! Welcome to Bucharest (a little early, but yeah..)!!!

Thanks and same to you, too. Physics... grimace Math IIC... grimace You crazy boy/girl/something... :P

:) .

Thanks! Same to all of you guys!

Yay, we're done with the SAT II's!!!

dancing a little jig

wheeeeeeee im done!

me too.. had a sat 1 ...praying for a gud result

I'm done......with this one.....
now I have to really get prepared for the one in nov....(retaking my sat)
so here I go again! (btw....girl ;) )

Why would you retake the SAT? If i did, it would be the third time (once old SAT, once new SAT) and I didn't want to appear as too obsessed THOUGh my writing scores could improve...

well because first time I took it(meaning June) I was totally unprepared. I had low scores(I knew I wasn't at all prepared for CR....plus I made a stupid mistake in W that cost me waaaaay more than I had expected...so... I'm not too obsessed with my SAT scores...just wanna retake it....it's only my second time.....there are plenty of people doing this). :)

Ah, okay, gotcha. Did not know this was your second time around doing it. sigh I wish it wasn't out of 2400 but just the CR and M score. Then mine would be a nice 1420. shrug Oh, well.

Two more weeks...Two more weeeeeeeeeeeks.

oh please don't start counting!!!! I'm also nervous.....but counting won't do me much help :(

Oh...Oops..Sorry... Well, if it helps, I'll be getting my Progress Report some time around...October 21st. The Friday before. :( And I know with my week's absence I'm failing.

mmmm. At this rate somebody will start up a "countdown to sat results day" thread soon.

Is anyone else waiting until the results come out before deciding where to apply ED? For me if i get more than 780 on the writing section and maths then ill apply Princeton ED or else ill stick to the Cornell ED/ Uchic EA combo!

grin I bet someone definitely will. It's CC and we're overflowing with similar threads (barring the ones in "What are my Chances!?!?!?!")

Hey, cool, didn't know you could ED at one, and EA at another at the same time. You aren't ED-ing at two..hmmm...you learn something new everyday.

I'm not applying ED cause I gotta consider financial packets. :( If I didn't have to I ~think~ I would ED at Mt. Holyoke which doesn't even NEED SAT/SAT II!!!!! tearing my hair out

You can Cornell according to the fine print but not Princeton which is slightly dodgy.

Poor you izz- you might be applying to a school that doesn't need SATs. Oh well, I'm sure "the experience will enrich your life"! lol

Well...Princeton is kinda uptight, anyway, isn't it? grins (Sorry. Basing this on previous high school principal and her husband, both Princeton alumni and stodgy as hell.)

I KNOW!! It's absolutely unfair. Mt. Holyoke seems to fit me pretty well. I'm a little unsure about the all-female environment but it has kosher/halal dining, teaches Arabic which I'm interested in learning, has int'l finaid, is close-knit, strong sciences and it IS part of that Five-College Consortium...

Well it seems like Mt. Holyoke has everythin you're after so good luck and have fun :p

No really- why did you do the SATs? Where else are you apply to then? And I know you're not applying ED. :p and that you're applying to more than one university!

well, it's kinda obvious if she's applyig RD. she can't just apply to only one univ.
