Just wanted to wish all the newly appointed soon to be Doolies…congrats and enjoy BCT. Up before dawn, power runs, SAMIs, 7 chews, eating at attention, knowledge tests, military orientation, push ups, flutter kicks, “the mother” etc., etc.

Do they still play “Welcome to the Jungle” that first morning?

I'm loving it right now. Two weeks as a free man. Just trying to have my last bit of fun now. And I actually like Guns n' Roses. Maybe I won't next year at this time.

I got a wake up call this morning at 5:30 to get up and run. That was cute. I love my sister. But other than that I'm doing fantastic. :) Running, eating, sleeping, rafting, swimming, hiking. That's pretty much it. I love my life! haha what's left of it...

that "Inside America's Military Academies" program was on today, suddenly i wasn't laughing at them going through beast any more, it was more along the lines of 'holy crap i can't believe that's gonna be me in less than 2 weeks!'

Um clubbing and sleeping in mostly... not doing too much. Still working out though. I promised myself that I would study for the chemistry and math placement exams, but it just didn't happen. I haven't had chemistry or pre calculus in like two years... those exams are gonna be pretty rough.

Hehehehe....Inside America....note the woman they followed at the USAFA...she was booted 3 weeks before graduation for honor violation. 3 weeks before graduation!!!

It hit the news in 2002 when she was about to graduate and there was a huge lawsuit over it...which I think finally settled either last year or the year before. It is a public record....if you rewind the program to the beginning it gives her first name...if you google her name you can see what happened. She was found to have violated honor and then she tried to sue to change the result (in a nutshell).

And 2 years later on August 1, 2004, she (her name is Andrea Prasse) was sworn in with full military honors as a 2nd Lt in the United States Air Force.

All I have to say about this story is that it's just sick and incredibly scary that a classmate could ruin your life all because you didn't like them....

Assuming that's the case. People blame their stupidity or lack of honor to someone having malicious intent. Be careful, it happens, but not that often.
