Good luck you guys!!!

because if so...that is really cool

that sounds so awesome...i really want to go to wyoming now...if only there were a beach by the grand tetons

Yes I am. It refers to the fact that its a valley. The original name was actually Jackson's Hole because a trapper named Jackson was the first to settle here. Thankfully, they dropped the 's.

And yes ritzbitz :) I'm very lucky. The base of Tetons is about 8 minutes from my house.

My fav part was just standing at one end of the main street and looking down it.. i can;t describe it but it was so amazing

that must be an incredible view...i live at the base of South Mountain in Arizona and I love the view but I'm sure they can't compare to the Tetons

The town is very charming. My mom is actually planning to move when I graduate. I get very sad to think that when I visit "home", from whichever college I end up at, that I won't really be coming home.

The town has a lot of character that I'm going to miss greatly.

I'd die if my parents moved away... it would be so hard to see high school friends

Yeah, I have a feeling that those relationships are going to dissolve when I leave. However, I'm much more excited about making new, lasting friendships in college.

i'm sorry...that's a real bummer. you could probably still go back for vacations and such

i feel that way too...It's a little scary how willing I am to just let old friendships go because of college

That's an admirable attitude, Lindsay. I've never been to Jackson Hole, but it sounds beautiful.

Victoria, I play flute!! Umm I don't play the oboe though. My friend does! And I sorta kinda not-really play piano. Just Hava Nagilah and the first part of Fur Elise and a mean Heart and Soul.

haha... i play flute too! if i was smart i would have picked bassoon or something because everyone plays flute! (but hey... i play the freaking harp...) :)

Beth, lol...that's how I play flute...I am a master at hot cross buns

where r u from harpingchic?

Haha Jill give yourself some credit, Hot Cross Buns is tough. Especially that "one-a-penny, two-a-penny" part.

Harpingchic, yay for flutes! And if you've got harp on your list of accomplishments, you don't need to worrying about not standing out!

Thanks Haosquared! I'm just a tad bit obsessed with fantasy. I spend a lot of time writing fantasy stories. ;)

I think the people suffered from anxiety attacks or something like that...

I'm addicted to oreos. Nothing wrong with discussing cookies in my opinion! It gives people a chance to quit worrying about admissions for a little while.

Ah yes, getting deferred is better than getting rejected.

About friendships, some people keep their friends while others grow apart. It is going to be weird leaving behind all my high school friends...

yay for flutes and oboes! i started piano in 2nd grade, but im not good, i never practice. I play the piccolo (yes, its a different instrument than the flute!!) and the alto sax. I own a guitar, but i've played it like 6 times, i dont have the time to teach myself. its acustic, so i figure ill just bring it to Yale with me and let people teach me, haha, ill trade them oboe lessons for it!

Bahhh.... I've played piano for 9 years... gets kinda boring now. I would kill to learn how to play the guitar though!

haha... ritzbitz... i'm from va. athlon-- yea piano is pretty boring.. it's my least favorite of my instruments :(

Victoria, I'll teach you acoustic guitar!

...I regret giving up on piano though. :(
