How about Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism?

I have heard U Maryland has a good journalism school, not 100% sure

You can use Missouri as your match school.

Any chance for NYU, Boston University, Syracuse....Uni of Florida?

bumpity bump :)
Missouri? :(
I know its good for journalism but im aiming a bit higher

And how is the UNiversity of Maryland?

I havent really heard of it for journalism

I'm a professional journalist and I attended U-Md. Yes, it has an excellent journalism program.

If you're looking for an undergraduate journalism program, I would suggest: Northwestern, Columbia, Missouri, Maryland and Syracuse. Mayland has a summer program. Perhaps you should apply to it?

You can also enter journalism (especially print) without majoring in it. It is easier to do if you go to a top school (Harvard, Wellesley, etc) because you can use the alumni network for internships and jobs. It is also possible to enter journalism without an undergraduate journalism degree if your college is near a city or town large enough to have its own newspaper/ television stations. In those cases, students just major in something related to their interest (English, political science, business, science) and find internships in related publications. What you want is to have a portfolio of good clips.
