Good Math and/or History schools

Hello, I'm going into the United States Marine Corps and am applying for a commission through the NROTC. I was hoping that some people here would be able to steer me towards some good Math and/or History programs. The Navy wants me to list 5 schools to apply to on my application and I would like to include both safety and reach schools, along with schools that I would have a relatively good chance of getting into but not necessarily safety schools.

Before you give me suggestions, I should tell you that I was a bit of a jerkoff my first couple years in high school and as such I have a somewhat less than competitive GPA (3.06), however my SAT scores were Reading: 740 Math: 690 and Writing: 610. I'm also sitting around the 40th in my class rank. Because of the scholarship, money is no object, and I don't particularly care where I go, though I would kinda like to get out of state (Oregon).

I really just need some way to search rankings for these undergraduate programs, but if you guys want to give me specific schools to consider then here's a list of NROTC schools: https://www.nrotc.navy.mil/colleges.cfm

if you dont mind a small school.. i’d recommend Denison University in Ohio… it may be a slight reach for you

Nope, doesn’t have an NROTC program. Thanks though.

Ohio State apparently has a good math department and you would certainly get in there.
