Good medical undergraduate schools in NJ?

I am having a bit of trouble finding a good amount of schools a certain criteria i have.

-Within the tri-state area for the most part (PA, NJ, NY) this is the most flexible but i prefer to be in those areas
-Can provide scholarships/financial aid with which would pay for most (90%) if not all academic expenses
-Has a decent-good record for being an undergraduate school that is good for students wanting to go into the medical field (this is of course objective but it is important to me)

My GPA is 4.31...out of 4.6 (my school is out of 4.6 instead of 4.0)
I've only taken the SATs once and nothing else (need advice on what else i should take but am definitely going to take the SATs at least two more times)
Scores were:
CR-710 Math-640 Writing-650 Total: 2000

What do you guys think would be good schools to apply considering everything? So far what i've come up with is Rutgers and Princeton...Rutgers would be my backup but im interested in what you guys think.

What is your ultimate goal? Are you trying to become a physician, dentist, pharmacist or something else?

If you wish to be a medical professional: nurse or PA or doctor or clinical lab specialist, where you go for school is largely irrelevant. What you accomplish during undergrad is far more important than where you do it.

My ultimate goal is to become a doctor. If that is the case, then what would be good schools to consider for the financial reasons? Rutgers I’d be able to attain scholarships to pay for my education, a school like Princeton i can receive financial aid.

Since it matters more what i accomplish as an undergrad then where, then what should i use to decide between going to a certain college besides my own preference?

bump, anyone have any advice to give me on what college i should consider? I understand that what matters most is what i make of the college, but what would people recommend as a good undergraduate school for someone interested in becoming a doctor and wants to be able to have a free ride through undergraduate.

if you’re in-state at rutgers, theres some very good merit scholarship oppurtunities… a full ride for in-state, top 5% in class and >1500 CR+M.

edit: with your SAT scores you wouldn’t get a full ride, but theres still money available (theres a table somewhere on rutgers’ website…)

Yea i know about that scholarship that you’re talking about, it’s actually one of the main reasons im retaking the SAT, so that i can get a combined 1500 on my CR+M. I already have top 5% in my class, just have to maintain it now. Rutgers is a solid choice in my opinion, and it provides me with everything i need. I was just wondering if anyone else had ideas of what another good college would be in-state that could provide similar if not better things.

bump, also im wondering if there any other standardized tests i should take other than the SAT. I’ve never heard of the ACT before and I am not sure if taking the SAT subject tests would be worth the while. Anyone have some recommendations?
