let me ask you girls this, though. what do you consider scripps? safety? safe match? high match? reach? high reach?

omg worldwarme44… i am so sorry… don’t worry though… you’re an early graduating junior, that’s amazing. you’ll get in somewhere great. well now i’m really scared.

I second that. and my hands are shaking now.

it seems like east coast people are being notified first…

that’s very possible. i’ve heard they send it in waves by location… to answer your question, i’d say it’s a high match/reach

yeah, same. my counselor actually recommended me apply 'cause she thought it’d be a good fit, but she says it’s still a bit of a reach.

my counselor said the same thing. and he was right because now i can’t imagine going anywhere else.

me neither… this is the daily conversation i have with my homeroom teacher:

me: “i’m scared”
her: “what’s your backup plan?”
me: “i don’t have one! i’m staying at home and not going to college!”

(obviously that is not true… but that’s how i feel.)

i feel your pain. everyone i’ve spoken to can agree that i’ve been painfully annoying for the past month. i bring scripps up whenever i can.

“hey, the weather’s nice.”
“yeah, but i heard it’s raining at scripps. should i buy rainboots?”

thankfully, my math teacher is a 5C alum so he tolerates it.

ahaha! today conversations went like this:

“i’m scared.”
“about the gov test?”
-stare-
“omg, shut up.”

well today i was too busy on the phone checking my email to have a decent conversation with anyone! haha my teachers noticed the phone out but they saw the look on my face and left me alone

ahaha, my counselor saw me while she was leaving in her car, and she yelled my name out the window, but i didn’t know who called my name so she honked, and i just screamed “i don’t know yet!” people have been ignoring me lately :p

and rejected

… as;lkdfjakls;dfjl;adfjskl;jsadfkl;jadsf CRAP.

Is there good news from anyone? :(

I have yet to hear anything… I was under the impression they were notifying by region, but that hypothesis has been disproved. Maybe it’s by last name… College819?

I believe for the automated e-mailing system, “send” is hit for the entire group, and when you receive probably depends both on your alphabetic place on the list and the speed of your email service.

And, sometimes ***** happens. Last year I think a technical malfunction fouled up the notifications-- stopped halfway down the email list leaving half the applicants in suspense overnight (because they usually hit “send” on the way out the door).

… not to give you anymore reason to worry!

Okay, that actually makes me feel better!

rejected…

I am sorry guys…but you all will get in somewhere great. I was rejected from my first choice ED1. I did get into Scripps…but I really wanted all of you to get in as well :(
