Hi all,
I’m trying to put together a playlist for myself with what I would consider good studying music. Here’s what I got so far.
- Unstoppable (Sia)
- Bird Set Free (Sia)
- Chandelier (Sia)
- Elastic Heart (Sia)
- Someone Like You (Adele)
- Set Fire to the Rain (Adele)
- Hello (Adele)
- Rolling in the Deep (Adele)
- Somebody That I Used to Know (Goyte)
- Closer (Chainsmokers)
- Heathen (Twenty One Pilots)
- Yerbatero (Juanes)
Any suggestions?
DNA by Lia Marie Johnson is really good. I also reccomend anything by Halsey, but she curses a little bit!
I listen to scream and math rock at the same time when I have to do hard stuff (like essays, hard climbs, math homework I didn’t pay attention to in class) but apparently that’s “too loud” for some (most) people…
Try shoegaze! Nice guitars, soothing vocals, no way to overanalyze lyrics… just good stuff. I mostly listen to Whirr, but there are some other good (and less controversial) bands that are just a YouTube search away.
I can’t handle noise when I study
I also can’t stand music while studying but I think these songs would go along great with your study music theme.
People Help The People (Birdy cover)
Not About Angels (Birdy)
Anything by Bastille! Perhaps Pompeii, Icarus, These Streets, Weight of Living Pt 1 to begin with. :">
I always listen to Coldplay, anything by them really. I prefer Hymn for the Weekend, Adventure of a Lifetime, and Viva la Vida
I have 174 songs on my playlist…lol.
I suggest you try some other songs by the Chainsmokers (All We Know), maybe Melanie Martinez (Dollhouse), Ariana Grande (Side to Side), FRENSHIP (Capsize), Nicki Minaj (Starships), Nick Saxon (Anchor), P!nk (Just Like Fire and Raise Your Glass), Party Pupils (Ms. Jackson), Sia (The Greatest and Cheap Thrills)…
Well those are my favorites from my playlist.
Although…for studying music, I suggest you listen to Epic music (yes, it’s a genre, the best artists for this would probably be Audiomachine or Thomas Bergersen), classical music (like Mozart and Beethoven and the sorts, or just unheard of orchestra pieces), or instrumentals of disney or pop music.
I think you might like Bea Miller as well.
