Does anyone know what size envelope an acceptance letter comes in? Some colleges send them in small, normal envelopes while other colleges send them in bigger ones with more info. What does USC do?

Our experience last year was large 9x13 envelopes came with acceptances on the early side – say… March 23rd - March 28th. Declines came in a typical white business envelope on March 31 and April 1.

It’s a pretty big packet.

Alright thanks for the info

One more permutation. Spring admits also come in the big envelopes, or at least they have in the past.

In past years the acceptance letter came in a large packet, about 10 by 13 inches. Inside is the letter of acceptance which is enclosed in a cardinal folder embossed with the seal of the University of Southern California. Also enclosed is a formal certificate.

The packet contains information about orientation and housing options. It is sent from the Office of Admissions by USPS priority mail.

What do the rejection letters look like? Just regular envelopes?
