Good news

Hey guys!
A classmate of mine called admissions and said that USC is going to be sending acceptance letters till the 11th of April not the first because they're still dealing with a lot of applications!
GOOD LUCK!!!

yay!!! except this is going to be an agonizing 12 days

Through a classmate :)

=(
too bad I already got my reject.
Wish luck to everyone else who hasn’t!

i guess statuses really mean nothing now, and USC was lying to us lol, since everyone is pretty much on “acted on”

The students you see here are only a very tiny percentage of seniors who applied from around the world.

All along the admissions office has asked students not to pay attention to the status information they manage to find on their computers.

Students have reported acceptances on Facebook today.

ugh, seriously?!?! idek how to feel about this. as if these past 7182839032918 days haven’t been hard stressful enough.

That’s awesome, maybe it’s a good sign after all I haven’t gotten anything yet

At this point I am ready to blindly accept all unsupported rumors - as long as they say more will be accepted :)

^hahaha, agreed :]

All of the logical parts of my brain say that this doesn’t seem to make sense, and that they would hold off on all rejections until after all the acceptances were out. But the emotional side of my brain just really, really hopes this is true, and applies to me.

The emotional side of my brain has seized control.

My Trojan side of my brain is telling me to paint a teddy bear blue and gold and then burn it. I’m surprised I’m having such violent thoughts. But they seem so right.

Rejection letter today for me. No postmark, but it arrived today…April 1st.

April fool’s, perhaps? Haha…ha…ha. Sorry. :(
